The city of Lacey has celebrated the Fourth of July a day early for more than 50 years now, and this year’s celebration is no different. Stop by Rainier Vista Community Park from 4 to 11 p.m. on July 3 for a free fireworks show, a kids zone, food vendors, and live entertainment. This year’s entertainment includes the bands ’90s House Party and Harmonious Funk. For the kiddos, there will be rides, face painting, and reptile shows. Bonus tip: Pick up a free pair of 3D glasses courtesy of Lacey Collision Center to enhance the fireworks experience.
Tacoma Summer Blast
Tacoma’s Fourth of July Summer Blast will take place from noon to 10:30 p.m. on July 4 along Ruston Way and Dune Peninsula with more than 150 vendors selling food, local wares, and more. There will be two stages featuring live entertainment throughout the day and fireworks at night.
Tumwater Family Festival and Fireworks Show
Visit the Tumwater Valley Golf Course driving range from 6 to 10:45 p.m. on July 4 for the Tumwater Family Festival and Nisqually Red Wind Casino Fireworks Show. Expect lots of live music, games, activities, and more to entertain all ages. Entrance into the event is free. Parking is $10.
Red, White, & Kaboom in Puyallup
Celebrate the Fourth of July a day early at Red, White, & Kaboom in Puyallup on July 3 at the Washington State Fairgrounds. It’ll have a car show, beer garden, a kids’ corner, food trucks, and live music. The latter starts at 12:30 p.m. and includes the Kim Archer Band, Hair Nation, Saltwater Sky, and Nite Wave.
